Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park Tours
A tour of the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park through the Water Discovery Field Trip Program will get students outdoors and learning about water topics, and more:
- Watershed issues
- Water recycling
- Climate appropriate plants
- The water cycle
Field trips are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school year and run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
IEUA offers qualifying schools and organizations Busing Mini-Grants for transportation funding to and from the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park to take part in the Water Discovery Field Trip program.
Our tours and educational programs support California curriculum standards, and can be tailored to specific grades and interest levels. By incorporating hands-on activities with State Standards, the Water Discovery Field Trip Program engages students to learn about current water and environmental challenges in a fun, outdoor environment.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Tours
