  • In the environment (nature)
  • In agriculture
  • In business & industry
  • In recreation
  • Use of drought-tolerant plants
  • Use of efficient irrigation systems

Submissions is OPEN for 2026/27 entries! Earth Day Student Day participants must submit an individual poster in-person. Contact Hazel Ceron hceron@ieua.org for any questions.

2026 winners: Andi Stigart of Upland High School (10th grade, Upland) and Abishrudha Sabari of Cal Aero Preserve Academy (8th grade, Chino) have earned a coveted spot in the 2026 Metropolitan Water District’s “Being Water-wise Is…” Student Art Poster Contest Calendar. Their winning artwork first stood out in the regional IEUA “Water is Life” Poster Contest during this past spring, rising above hundreds of submissions. Their creative designs will be showcased in MWD’s 2026 calendar, which is distributed to more than 13,000 recipients across Southern California.
