The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA/Agency) celebrates July as Smart Irrigation Month. Since 2005, the Irrigation Association® has implemented this public outreach campaign to teach the community about the importance of applying efficient water practices outdoors through simple tips and advanced water technology.
The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) co-sponsored three local high school teams that competed at this year’s Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s (MWD) Solar Cup™ competition. The three-day Solar Cup™ competition took place May 17-19 at Lake Skinner.

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) partnered with the City of Chino to co-host a two-day Earth Day Event on April 17 and 18, 2019 at the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park. The 11th Annual Earth Day celebration provided Water Discovery field trips to approximately 2,000 students, parents and teachers on April 17, and hosted over 2,000 community members on April 18 during Community Day.
Saturday, April 27, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., facilities throughout the region will open their doors to receive unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications. The service is FREE and anonymous. No questions asked.
