As of May 26, 2020, IEUA has resumed its Regional Water-Use Efficiency Programs. Regional programs hosted by the Chino Basin Water Conservation District continue to be on a temporary hold. If you would like any information on water saving programs or rebates, please contact Pietro Cambiaso via email at pcambias@ieua.org

This program includes an evaluation of a customer’s existing irrigation system and installation of a new weather-based irrigation controller. These weather-based irrigation controllers set watering schedules, adjust watering schedules based on local weather, and monitor water usage. Customers learn how to program and adjust their controllers at a mandatory workshop. Depending on lot size, customers may be eligible for installation of high-efficiency sprinkler nozzles.

This program is designed to install, repair and adjust Pressure Regulating Valves (PRV). A PRV is a device installed in the customer’s home and is meant to decrease indoor water pressure. This allows customers to reduce their water use, while increasing the life of their appliances.

Professionals from the Chino Basin Water Conservation District (CBWCD) provide customers with a complete evaluation of their outdoor irrigation system. Customers will also receive valuable water saving tips and recommendations. For more information and to sign up, visit cbwcd.org or call 909-626-2711.
