This no-cost program provides participants with educational resources on irrigation system basics, an evaluation of their existing irrigation system, minor irrigation repairs and retrofits, and the potential installation of a new weather-based irrigation controller. Repairs may include replacing and adjusting sprinkler nozzles, repairing valves and bad wiring, reprogramming of weather-based irrigation controllers, flushing drip irrigation, and replacing couplers and emitters. Weather-based irrigation controllers set watering schedules, adjust their schedules based on local weather, and monitor water usage.
