Local High School Teams Receive Top Honors at Metropolitan Water District’s Annual Solar Cup™ Competition
The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) co-sponsored three local high school teams that competed at this year’s Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s (MWD) Solar Cup™ competition. The three-day Solar Cup™ competition took place May 17-19 at Lake Skinner.
IEUA in Partnership with Chino Basin Leaders Adopt Memorandum of Understanding to Move Chino Basin Program Forward
As of May 16, 2019, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA), in partnership with 14 additional cities and agencies within the Chino Basin, have approved a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in support of the Chino Basin Program (CBP).

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) partnered with the City of Chino to co-host a two-day Earth Day Event on April 17 and 18, 2019 at the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park. The 11th Annual Earth Day celebration provided Water Discovery field trips to approximately 2,000 students, parents and teachers on April 17, and hosted over 2,000 community members on April 18 during Community Day.
Saturday, April 27, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., facilities throughout the region will open their doors to receive unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications. The service is FREE and anonymous. No questions asked.
