Inland Empire Utilities Agency Passes Voluntary Drought Resolution

Inland Empire, California – The State of California is experiencing record dry conditions, with 2014 projected to become one of the driest years on record. In response to the current drought and Governor Brown’s declared Drought State of Emergency, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency Board of Directors adopted a drought resolution on April 16 requesting a voluntary 20 percent water use reduction. Inland Empire Utilities Agency Supports National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Inland Empire, California – On Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. facilities throughout the community will open their doors to receive unwanted or unused prescription medication during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The event allows community members a venue to safely dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Only pills or patches will be accepted. The service is free and anonymous.

IEUA Provide Tips for Fix a Leak Week 2014

Chino, California – The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) is promoting Fix a Leak Week, March 17-23, in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense® program. Fix a Leak Week is celebrated in March of each year as a time to remind community members to check their household fixtures and irrigation systems for leaks.
