Saturday, October 26, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., facilities throughout the region will open their doors to receive unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications. The service is FREE and anonymous. No questions asked.

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) and Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority (IERCA) recognized their award-winning, landmark water-energy project at a dedication on September 19. IEUA and IERCA have partnered with Advanced Microgrid Solutions (AMS) to expand its existing solar and battery storage system.

During the California Association of Sanitation Agencies (CASA) Annual Conference, Jasmin A. Hall, Inland Empire Utilities Agency’s (IEUA) Board Vice President, was announced as the new CASA Board Secretary/Treasurer for fiscal year 2019/2020.

For the 20th consecutive year, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) has been awarded the distinguished Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for Fiscal Year 2017/2018.

The 11th Annual Earth Day celebration provided Water Discovery field trips to approximately 2,000 students, parents and teachers on April 17, and hosted over 2,000 community members on April 18 during Community Day.
