INLAND EMPIRE, CA – In a recent release from Moody’s ratings, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA/Agency) received affirmation of the Agency’s Aa2 rating, confirming a stable outlook that debt service coverage of all outstanding obligations will remain strong and confidence that financed projects will be completed as planned.
“Transparency has long remained a key component of IEUA’s mission and values,” stated IEUA Board President Marco Tule. “An exemplary Moody’s rating not only signals fiscal strength, but also serves as confirmation to the community that our mission to preserve public health through responsible wastewater management and development of a reliable water supply is built on stable funding, resilience, and efficiency.”
According to Moody’s, IEUA’s credit strength reflects healthy financial performance which was evident in strong debt service coverage and liquidity supported by strong planning and adopted policies.
