Educational awareness is facilitated through the Water Discovery Field Trip program to the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park in the city of Chino. The Water Discovery Field Trip program focuses on water conservation, wetlands and watershed issues. By incorporating hands-on activities with State Standards, students are engaged to learn about current water and environmental challenges in a fun, outdoor environment.

The Park facilities include an outdoor classroom, 1.7 miles of trails, and educational stations tailored to grade levels. The Water Discovery Field Trip program is free to participating schools as well as provides a Busing Mini-grant to qualifying schools.
Local and regional school programs are held at the Park, including Earth Day and the Water Discovery educational program. For information on upcoming events in the Park visit our Calendar.
