Chino, California – The Bureau of Reclamation recently announced that the Inland Empire Utilities Agency will receive a $3 million grant from the 2014 WaterSmart: Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Program for the Lower Chino Dairy Area Desalination and Reclamation Well Field and Pipeline Project.

Inland Empire Utilities Agency Receives Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
Inland Empire, CA – For the 15th consecutive year, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual (FY 2012/2013) financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
Inland Empire Utilities Agency Names Viramontes Express as the 2014 Supplier of the Year
Inland Empire, California – The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) recently named Corona based Viramontes Express, Inc. as the “2014 Supplier of the Year”. Launched in 2000, IEUA’s supplier recognition program selects one outstanding supplier or contractor for work conducted in the prior calendar year. Companies are nominated by IEUA staff based on the vendor’s overall performance, pricing, and level of customer service.

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency Celebrates Compost Awareness Week Compost Giveaway: Wednesday, May 7
Chino, California –The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) will be celebrating Compost Awareness Week May 5-11, 2014. Composting is an effective form of waste reduction, reuse and recycling. Materials such as yard trimmings, vegetable cuttings, biosolids, manures and hay shavings can all be composted and converted into a beneficial product known as compost.
