Inland Empire, California – The Inland Empire Utilities Agency’s (IEUA/Agency) Board of Directors held its election of officers (effective January 1, 2022) during today’s Board Meeting. Director Steve Elie was elected to serve as the Agency’s Board President. Director Michael Camacho was re-elected to serve as the Agency’s Board Vice President, as well as re-elected as the Agency’s representative to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s Board of Directors. Director Marco Tule was elected to serve as the Agency’s Secretary/Treasurer as well as the Agency representative on the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) commission (SAWPA commission effective immediately).

“I am humbled and honored that my colleagues chose me to serve as the President of IEUA’s Board of Directors.  IEUA stands on the forefront on so many key issues for the Inland Empire,” stated IEUA Board member Steve Elie. “Leadership, innovation and forward thinking are all imperative in addressing these issues and developing solutions for the sake of all now and in the future. I look forward to working with our communities, member agencies, my fellow Board members and staff collaboratively to continue to secure the reliability of our precious water supply.”

Director Elie was elected to the Agency’s Board of Directors in November 2010 and re-elected again in 2014 and 2018. Director Elie represents the cities of Chino (and unincorporated areas in its sphere of influence) and Chino Hills.

Director Camacho was elected to the Agency’s Board of Directors in November 2008 and re-elected again in 2012, 2016, and 2020. Director Camacho represents a large portion of the city of Rancho Cucamonga, unincorporated territories in the city of Rancho Cucamonga’s sphere of influence, a portion of the city of Fontana, and a portion of the unincorporated territories in the city of Fontana’s sphere of influence.

Director Tule was elected to the Agency’s Board of Directors in November 2020. Director Tule represents the cities of Upland and Montclair, the unincorporated area of San Antonio Heights, and a portion of the cities of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga.
