INLAND EMPIRE, CA – Following the November election period, Marco Tule and Michael Camacho were recently sworn in as Directors to the Inland Empire Utilities Agency’s (IEUA/Agency) Board of Directors. Both Tule and Camacho are returning Directors, serving since 2020 and 2009, respectively.

Director Tule was re-elected to begin a new four-year term in office, representing Division 1, which includes the cities of Upland and Montclair, San Antonio Heights, unincorporated territories in the city of Montclair, and a portion of the unincorporated areas in the cities of Chino and Ontario. He is currently a member of IEUA’s Engineering, Operations, & Water Resources, and Audit Committees, and is First Alternate on the Agency’s Finance & Administration Committee.

“I am honored to be re-elected and to continue serving on the Board of such a forward-thinking Agency,” stated Director Tule.  “I look forward to continuing to contribute to the Agency’s legacy of innovation within the water industry.  During my first term, I enjoyed our tremendous collaboration with partners across the region and State and am eager to continue those efforts.  It is through productive coordination as a region that we will be able to build upon our robust water resource portfolio to ensure the long-term health of our community.”

Director Camacho was appointed to begin his fifth term in office, representing Division 5, which includes the city of Rancho Cucamonga and unincorporated territories in the city of Rancho Cucamonga’s sphere of influence. Appointments were made in lieu of election by the Board of Supervisors for specific contests where the number of persons filing a Declaration of Candidacy for various offices was either equal to or fewer than the number of positions to be filled for those respective offices. Director Camacho is currently Chair of the Agency’s Engineering, Operations, & Water Resource Committee and a member of the Community & Legislative Affairs Committee. He also serves as IEUA’s representative on the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s Board.

“I am grateful to be appointed for my fifth term as an IEUA Board Member,” said Board Member Michael Camacho. “IEUA’s continued leadership in water resource management and environmental stewardship is something I take great pride in. I will remain dedicated to representing our community to ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply for all.”
