INLAND EMPIRE, CA – For the 22nd consecutive year, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA/Agency) has been awarded the distinguished Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for Fiscal Year 2018/2019.

This award is the highest form of recognition in government accounting and financial reporting. Receipt of this award symbolizes IEUA’s dedication to fulfilling principal standards of governmental budgeting and constitutes a significant achievement by an Agency and its management.

“Attainment of this award emphasizes Agency staff’s continuous commitment to financial transparency and accountability,” stated Shivaji Deshmukh, IEUA General Manager. “This outstanding accomplishment has been achieved for the past 22 years due to the hard work and dedication of our Finance and Accounting teams and all of the staff members who contributed to the preparation of the final document.
