INLAND EMPIRE, CA – During the 66th Annual Conference hosted by the California Association of Sanitation Agencies (CASA), Inland Empire Utilities Agency’s (IEUA/Agency) Board President, Jasmin A. Hall, was installed as CASA’s new President.

CASA represents over 100 public agencies that engage in the collection, treatment or disposal of wastewater, resource recovery or water recycling. CASA’s mission is to provide trusted information and advocacy on behalf of California clean water agencies, and to be a leader in sustainability and utilization of renewable resources.

“It is an honor to continue to serve on CASA’s Board as a voice for clean water agencies on regulatory, legislative and legal issues,” stated Jasmin A. Hall, IEUA Board President and CASA Board President. “It is imperative that as a trusted and leading organization, CASA provides reliable information, influential leadership, a top-notch member experience, and meaningful collaboration. These principles are the foundation of CASA and aid in establishing a sustainable world for today and tomorrow.”

Prior to Hall’s appointment, she served as Vice President on CASA’s Board of Directors. Prior to that, she served as CASA’s Board Secretary/Treasurer and was a member of the CASA Utilities Leadership Committee.

“CASA continues to lead the way in the clean water community’s sustainability efforts while protecting public health for California, and I look forward to supporting CASA’s mission as President while upholding the core values that the Association stands for,” continued Hall.

President Hall has served on the IEUA Board since 2013 and currently serves as Board President, representing Division 4 of IEUA’s service area that covers portions of Fontana, Rialto and Bloomington. She has extensive experience in community leadership by serving as the Fontana Planning Commission Secretary and serving as Chair of the Fontana Parks and Recreation Commission. She is the Agency’s representative to a number of organizations and serves as Chair of the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority Commission, President of the Chino Basin Regional Financing Authority and Director of the Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority.
