Water Industry Affiliations:
Director Elie serves as the Chair of the National Water Research Institute and as representative to the Chino Basin Watermaster, Chino Basin Desalter Authority, Southern California Water Coalition, and the Chino Basin Water Bank. Director Elie also serves as alternate representative to the Regional Sewerage Policy Committee.

Professional and Community Activities:
Director Elie is an environmental and water law attorney who regularly represents public entities and public utility regulated entities in complex, multiparty litigation and administrative matters, including soil and groundwater contamination matters.
