Wind Energy

IEUA recently approved installing 1 megawatt of wind energy at the northern water recycling plant. The treatment plant has a persistent wind able to drive a wind turbine, generating enough electricity to  power the plant.  IEUA Board Member Gene Koopman stated that “the venture will provide an annual savings of over $100,000 in electricity costs”.
