Wholesale Recycled Water Rates

The IEUA Board of Directors, on May 3, 2000, approved Ordinance No. 69, redefining and establishing the Regional Recycled Water Program, forming the Regional Recycled Water Distribution System as one system, dissolving the two existing systems. One wholesale rate was set throughout the service area, lowering the wholesale rate for recycled water.
The price set forth by this ordinance (and its respective resolution) is comprised of three components: Regional Tertiary Operations & Maintenance Cost, Regional Recycled Water Operations & Maintenance Cost, and Regional Pumping Cost. The member agencies purchase the recycled water at IEUA’s wholesale rate and must add their own costs for operations and maintenance of their conveyance system to the price they charge to customers.
