RECOGNITION PROGRAMS AT IEUA
Employee Service Awards Program
The Employee Service Awards Program recognizes an employee’s length of service to the Agency by providing a variety of awards including paid longevity leave, service pins/plaques, lunch with the Board of Directors and cash gifts. The awards vary depending on the years of service.
Strive to Achieve Recognition (STAR) Program
The Strive to Achieve Recognition (STAR) Program gives Agency employees an opportunity to nominate “STAR” co-workers for recognition of exemplary accomplishments. Nominees are considered on the basis of their individual contributions to the Agency in the areas of leadership, creativity, performance, teamwork, etc. STAR employees receive recognition at the annual Agency picnic and holiday luncheon and are awarded with paid time off, STAR certification, an engraved Star and cash awards.
Employee Suggestion Program
The Employee Suggestion Program recognizes and rewards eligible employees for suggestions that improve the efficiency, economy, or effectiveness of Agency operations. Recognition for the employee’s efforts and ideas may be a cash award or a non-cash award, subject to the availability of funds.
Employee Recognition Awards Program
The Employee Recognition Awards Program provides cash incentives to employees in recognition of excellent contributions with respect to specific projects and work efforts. The Agency’s management team nominates members of their staff on a quarterly basis to award employees who have demonstrated their commitment to achieve excellence.
